Valentino Rossi will this week test with Michael Schumacher. Again the MotoGP driver will get behind the wheel of a Ferrari F1. Last times he only drove on the private track Fiorano, without other drivers, but this time he will join an official test session.
Last week Ferrari still proved to have a fast car. While Schumacher was still trying to improve setup and therefor drive slower laptimes, Massa was fastest on the track!
Ferrari was fast in the last test days at Jerez. The tests started at the 10th with the fastest time by 'our' Michael, 1.18.020. Michael who said, in an interview that, inspite of all the rumours, will stay for 99% certainty with Ferrari if he continues racing! Second of that day was Zonta in his Toyota. Yesterday was De La Rosa the fastest in his McLaren (1.16.509) and Schumacher second in 1.17.970. And testing continued today, with again De La Rosa as fastest (1.16.732) and Marc Gene as third (1.18.566). Source: F1Racing.net
